Grandma Larsen

My dear, sweet Grandmother passed away on August 4th from an unexpected major stroke. We were able to go out to California for her funeral and then bring her back to Salt Lake City to rest with my grandpa.

I will miss her dearly. While it still hasn't sunk in that she's gone, there seems to be something missing. She taught me a lot. She taught me how to be "frugal" with money. She taught me how to be brave. She taught me how to play cards and bowl. She taught me a thing or two about physical fitness--yes, at 88 years old, she could still out walk me any day of the week! She taught me how to love. But most of all, my grandma taught me how to live, not just be alive. The woman lived up until the day she had a stroke. She traveled, she played games, she made friends, she was always going. She never sat home and watched the world go by, that would have driven her nuts! I hope that I can be like her someday.
