Tom Turkey

Just now, Jane and I were talking about Thanksgiving.

She says: At Thanksgiving, do we eat Tom Turkey?
Me: yep
Jane: yes we do. But first some things have to come off.
Me: What things have to come off?
Jane: His head and eyes and wings and hat and feet.
Me: (wide eyed-- not sure where my little girl learned how to clean a dead turkey) uh. . . yeah, I guess so. . .

What are they teaching my kid in preschool?!?!?!

I hope next we get to see pictures of Jane clearing the gizzards of Tom Turkey- now that's a preschool I could really wrap my head around!

Glad to know she could take care of her own. She knows the drill!

LOL! That's funny. Last night we watched a prank video where parents tucked a "baby turkey" inside their Thanksgiving turkey and showed the kids ... who freaked out ... not remembering that ... birds come from eggs.
