Here's a birthday shout out to my favorite little one, Jane!!! A year ago today Jane came into the world and it has been an adventure since! She is so fun to have in our family. She likes to talk and clap her hands and laugh. In the past year she's learned to roll over, crawl, feed herself, do some sign language, flip through books, and charm complete strangers.
Today for her birthday we actually took it easy. She had a fever from the day/night before that never went away so we ended up taking her to the Dr (poor thing) but after that, and a quick nap, we went to the zoo and looked at all the fun animals. Jane LOVES the zoo because she loves animals so I hope it was fun for her for her birthday. We made her her favorite meal (beef stroganoff) and she ate her first birthday cup cake EVER! (well, maybe eat is the wrong word. . .she destroyed her first birthday cupcake ever. . .). Saturday we will have her birthday party with a Luau theme. I can't wait!

ha ha, beef stroganoff is her favorite? I love it. she's so cute, and congrats to her for being 1. doesn't being a mom just get more and more fun?
Whitney, your little girl is so cute (and I love your new background!) I can't believe she's already 1. WOW! I hope you post lots more pictures of the luau party.
